New Synthetic Polymer Developed by Distinguished IUT Scientist
Prof. S.E. Mallakpour, the faculty at IUT Department of Chemistry, presented the latest achievements in the field of synthetic polymers in an article entitled ”Progress in Synthetic Polymers Based on Natural Amino Acids”. The paper, coauthored by Mr. M. Dinari, the PhD student at IUT Department of Chemistry, is published now in the prestigious international Journal of Macromolecular Science, Part A, appearing on the Taylor & Francis website.
The adaptability to environmental conditions and high rate of decomposition are the chief advantages of this synthetic polymer which qualifies it for medical and agricultural applications.
Noteworthy to add is that Prof. Mallakpour is one of the outstanding international scientists at IUT with over 360 papers published in various world famous journals.
