Overview
Department of Rural
Development at College of Agriculture, Isfahan University of Technology (IUT), is one of leading centers for the study of rural issues in Iran.
Our central objective is the generation of knowledge and improving the economy
and quality of life in rural regions to advance the welfare and integrity of
rural communities and environments.
Rural Development programs cover a
wide breadth of topics. The program has adopted an interdisciplinary approach
to rural topics and professional practice.
Rural Development involves a
variety of courses and offers Master of Science (M.Sc.) program in the fields
of: Economic Development, Social Development, Agricultural Development and
Development Management.

M.Sc. Degree in Rural Development
takes 4 semesters and can be extended to 5 semesters. Students should take 32
